Hindu Awareness Week

We will be having Hindu Awareness Week starting March 19th through the 25th culminating with Holi!

HA 

 

Here are the events:

 

Monday - An Information Booth hosting information about Holi and other Hindu related topics. We will be offering free Henna!

Tuesday - We will have a Guest Speaker, Dr. Raju, come speak to us.

Wednesday - Our first Yoga meeting! Come to relax and learn about the ancient art of Yoga!

Thursday - We will have our regular Hindu Students Association meeting with a discussion. Essays should be submitted by this date.

Friday - Movie Night at the District on Luther Clubhouse!

Saturday - Our Seva event: the Big Event

Sunday - The biggest event of the Spring Semester: HOLI!

Howdy!


This week you guys will be in a mock debate over topics in religion. This is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons and hear ideas on multiple sides of controversial topics. Also, this is a good meetings for you chatty ones! 

Also, we will be announcing the topic for an ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION for which we will be offering a GENEROUS CASH PRIZE, open ONLY to students at Texas A&M. (Low competition=better chances of winning) Details on deadline, length, and criteria of judgement will be discussed at this meeting! So don't miss out!

It will be this Thursday at 8:00 at Rudder 402.
